I realized that I haven't asked the always-correct Divine Bovine (also known as [livejournal.com profile] gotmoof) to post any photos for me since January 1.

Seldom are changes in venues and cities in such stark contrast as the recent jumps from Wallingford, CT to Spokane, Washington to Los Angeles. Last week, I was in an area filled with natural beauty; this week, I'm in the midst of the bright artificiality known as Hollywood. Check out the difference in venues, the scenery and a couple of candid shots from the stage... on and back...

The Spokane Opera House. You can see part of the city's
Riverfront Park reflected in the glass of the theater.
Mirror, mirror, who's the prettiest of them all?

Scenic Spokane, Washington's Riverfront Park.
Ooh pretty!

This photo was taken just before the final Spokane performance on Sunday night.
The pretty lady in the photo was my wonderful dresser Kathi.
he's her barbie doll- how flexible is he really?

I took this photo of Bradley Dean who plays Che in "Evita" during sound check.
And yes... he's always this intense. :) He rocks in the role!

host site for the Academy Awards for years.
In the foreground is one of our dancers Halden Michaels,

(Nick-named by my friends in DC, the "Ram it Inn".)
Wish you were here! No, really!
No, you don't really wish you were here.

Well, I have no one to blame but myself for disliking WeHo so much. I haven't gone to any clubs, I stay in my room (which I dislike...contemporary, all mirrors and not very clean) and I've eaten mostly at IHOP. I find the area pricey and I really don't like the sample of gay men I'm seeing on the streets and in the hotel. Just not my cup of tea....

As to the Chinese Philharmonic, it was a huge group. I estimated more than 80 people checked in at once. They seemed very organized. They must have played their concert here, then checked into the hotel, because they left on four buses this morning. I hope you enjoy the concert!! Hugs!

Sorry to hear that you are not enjoying WeHo. I agree its not everyone's cup of tea. Don't become too much of a hermit though. Get out and have some fun! It's good for ya!
