Try to say that three times really fast! Safe in Snowy Schenectady:) I expected a hellish travel day, similar to the one I had on December 21. However, the flights (Houston-Atlanta-Albany) left on time and arrived early. My 35-minute layover in Atlanta wasn't a problem; in fact I made the connection in 10 minutes.

The downside - I was selected for "special screening" again, and my suitcase hasn't made it yet, but after Monday's two delayed flights, one canceled flight, one missed connection, three special screenings and snow storms on either end, I guess that completes the set of screw-ups by Delta Airlines. I should have good karma for the remainder of the tour, don't ya think? :)

I did pack a change of clothes, Christmas cookies and toiletries in my carry-on, so if the suitcase doesn't arrive on the midnight flight, I should be fine for a day or so. Good thing that I have fur, as my night shirt's on a plane somewhere:) My only concern is if the bag is delayed a couple of days. I leave here Wednesday for Florida. It could take awhile for the bag to catch up to me. Fingers, and everything that can be crossed, that my stuff here's sometime tonight.

Anyway...say with me... Safe in Snowy Schenectady, Safe in Snowy Schenectady....Hope everyone had a Happy Christmas!

I arrived at 7:30pm last night. My bag arrived at the hotel at 8am this morning. Not bad considering there are still hundreds of bags sitting in the baggage claim area at the airport in Albany. Thanks for the well wishes. Hugs!

I loose... I can't even say "Schenectady" once, so I'm not sure how I'd be able to add two more words then say them all three times...in a row... and fast! :o)

Sorry to hear about the travel problems, good luck getting all the luggage safe in snowy Schen-icky-tab... dang it!

And thank you! I actually have 3 new icons, and I was a little surprised that you didn't say something about my entry using the one of me with John announcing our engagement. Maybe you missed it? If you did... well, I just told you :o)

I swear on all thats holy that the reason why you're getting selected for special screening is because of your laptop.

That, or that asshole TSA who marked you for it has somehow left it on your permanent record. *shrug*

I don't think it's the computer. As far as I know, there is no punishment for having an old laptop and everyone carries a computer these days who travels in their job. I've been told I've been selected (and that it will happen most likely every time I travel) for special screening because we fly on one-way tickets during layoffs and that triggers extra security.

Our company manager has been told when we travel as a group, that two people will be selected each time for the special screenings by the computer. It may be me most of the time because I am first alphabetically. Oooh! I'm thrilled! ....NOT! LOL!

Too strange

You went home very close to my house, and now you are in the same town as my grandparents. The world is a shocking small place. Sorry about the luggage, but glad you are safe.

I was thinking about just this. Had I planned on going down for this/these performances, God only knows what the roads are like between here and there, especially considerng having to drive smack dab thru the Adirondacks. So Montreal it will be. Already have it on the agenda!!!

Nightshirts are overrated. The thought of you in the hotel room with nothing between you and the sheets but your fur is HIGHLY preferable. Okay, call me shallow. :-)

That said, I'm glad your luggage finally arrived.
