In honor of my friend David's birthday, I tried the Jell-O Cake recipe that I posted yesterday. The verdict is in; the cake came out of the oven 30 minutes ago perfectly shaped, moist and delicious.

A bonus is that our home currently smells like Raspberry Jell-O being made. The only drawback to the experiment, other than I should always stay out of the kitchen as I have no business baking sweets I should avoid eating (no control), is that since I used Sugar-free Raspberry Jell-O in the recipe, the cake is bright pink-red in color! A bit disconcerting.

Our dilemma is - since we've already eaten a couple of slices of the cake (I told you it was moist and really good warm) do we frost it or not? What is proper frosting etiquette? Can a partially-eaten cake still deserve frosting? Inquiring minds want to know:)

GotMoof suggests Cool Whip. Any comments?

Glad we were all able to cheer you up my dear. Jokes and all. :-)

My Mom has shopped at both Sears and Penny's and still does on occasion - Also, Norstrom, the Bon, now Bon Macy's and such. :-P

Yeah, well, she's probably doing better than my Mom as I don't think she owns any stock at all.
