No More Dial-Up
Mar. 16th, 2007 02:47 pmToday I am free ... Well, today, I begin use of Free AOL. Since November 1994, I've been paying anywhere from $14.95 to $21.95 a month for AOL's dial-up service. For a lot of years, it was the only option when I was living in a rural area. There would be one local AOL number for the entire county and usually me on the line:) As of today, my AT&T Yahoo DSL is installed and I have canceled AOL as my dial-in to the internet. Free ... Free ... Free at last!
Tim's flight arrived at 2:35am this morning. It was scheduled to arrive at 10:02pm yesterday. I got to the airport at 1:30am and we got back to the house and to bed around 4:15am. We got to the office about 1:15pm and have been handed a problem to solve. Tim is updating our company website; though we have the user name and password written down and have used them successfully before, they are not working. I am calling various parties to see why not. Tim's got to get into our site today! There's work to be done!
Tomorrow is my twin nephews' 20th birthday. Ryan & Brennan are fishing and boating in West Texas with their parents right now; so instead of partying with them, Tim and I are going to Galveston for the day and take in the Gulf of Mexico and Galveston's Historic Strand.
