As for beets, I love them, though I agree with all parties concerned that they taste disturbingly like dirt-flavored Jell-o. Ya gotta wonder where I get my tastes from. . . in vegetables, that is.

Yes, I've been to Lake Chautauqua, but not since I was a child. Tim really helps me with my LJ pix. I very much appreciate it! It was great talkin to you on the phone. Hope you're stayin close to home since the weather seems so nasty up that way. I just spoke with my friend Linda in Boston and they are expecting 30" of snow. My family's bitchin cause it's going into the upper 30s... (and yesterday was a high of 77 here:)

Thanks very much for reading my journal. I like to try to work things out through writing about my life and the things that interest me on LJ ... I'm especially interested in chronicling this 15-month period touring in "Evita".

I'm finding that my desire to read about others' life journeys on this site, to read others' words, has led me to a more disciplined approach in my own writing. I sign on to see how everyone is doing. I've grown to care about so many of the people I'm getting to know on LJ and I am delighted to say, I've got growing and meaningful friendships with more than a couple of people. Nice to know that there are folks out there willing to reach out and share the important...the mundane...the fun moments of their lives.
