Dancing Under a Full Moon
Jul. 31st, 2004 01:02 pmLast evening was my introduction to the handsome, intelligent and charming BearArchitect who is in town for his parents' 50th anniversary. We met in the early evening, went out for Mexican food and then went dancing at the Brazos River Bottom, the CW club which has been at the same location in Houston for over 30 years. We had a wonderful time.
Thanks to the information shared on live journal, conversation was comfortable and easy from the get-go; the shared stories and similar experiences, entertaining; we laughed a lot and our dancing compatibility was top-notch. It's been a long time since I enjoyed someone's company so much.
It was a full moon last night and the stars were shining brightly.... a perfect setting for a new friendship:) Fernando you are an impressive man, but then I'm not telling anyone who knows you anything new:)! Here's to our next meeting!
This is an example of what livejournal.com does best - creating a forum in which you are given the opportunity to know other men and women who like to communicate their thoughts, feelings and opinions and share them with others in open dialog, through the written word. I never thought I'd appreciate this site, but I do. It is like that special feeling you used to get when a friend sent you a long, handwritten letter; in that moment, you had the opportunity for discovery.
I'm a happy camper today!
