Changes and Arrivals
Apr. 22nd, 2004 06:09 pmMy uncle, who was near death last week, went in 24 hours from being in a coma to out of the coma, off the respirator and sitting up in a chair. He is now in rehab. I hope and like to believe that Mom and Dad's emergency trip to Erie had something to do with his recovery. He was so touched Mom was there.
It's a point that is good to reiterate; when a loved one is critically or terminally ill the the important time to go is while they are still alive; after all, they won't know if you were at the funeral or not.
I am excited, as my parents decided to visit me in Seattle before returning home to Texas. They will be here in my apartment when I get back tonight from the show. They will see "Man of La Mancha" this weekend. I am delighted as this is a production of which to be proud. Yee-Haw!
