Seattle is experiencing a snow storm today. I don't have to be anywhere until 7:15 pm. They've pre-empted "Ellen", so what to do? A movie meme. This one challenged my memory, as I'm not a big film-goer; and though, I own a lot of DVD's, most remain unopened in their packages:) Here are my answers:

1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times: The Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, Victor/Victoria, Soapdish, Singing in the Rain, White Christmas.
2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in a theatre: The Sound of Music, Victor/Victoria
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie: George Clooney
4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie: Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson
5. Name a movie that you can quote from: None .. I'm not interested in filling my head with movie lines.
6. Name a movie musical that you know all the lyrics to all the songs: Again, I don't pay that kind of attention ... I suppose I could sing many of the lyrics to Sound of Music or Victor/Victoria
7. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with: None
8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see: Sordid Lives, Strictly Ballroom
9. Name an unusual movie that you own: Can't think of one that anyone would call "unusual". Perhaps, The Triplets of Belleville?
10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops: Oprah Winfrey, Lily Tomlin
11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in?: All the time, when I was a child
12. Ever made out in a movie?: Sure .. even a bit more
13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't gotten around to it: Gone with the Wind
14. Ever walked out of a movie?: Yes. Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Also, wanted to walk out of the second Austin Powers film
15. Name a movie that made you cry: Ordinary People
16. Popcorn?: Yes, with lots of butter and popcorn salt
17. How often do you go to the movies?: About once a quarter
18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?: Mama Mia
19. What is your favorite/preferred genre of movie?: Comedy, Animated or Musicals
20. What was the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?: Old Yeller

I'm stunned. Just stunned. How is it possible that this could have happened. Rhetorical question only.

The Triplets of Belleville is surely a unusual but very interesting French animation film.

I am in shock about you not seeing Gone with the Wind as well. Have you at least seen the Went With the Wind parody on the Carol Burnett Show?

Those are great choices, Neil. "Sordid Lives" was absolutely hiliarious, of course my interest piqued because of Beau Bridges' presence! WOOF!!!!!

Sordid Lives is a great flick... did we have this conversation? The television series is equally as wacky, but is, IMHO, uneven. And yes, I admit, I stole a couple of your answers in my Movie Meme post. Hugs!

I haven't seen the television series yet, but I loved the movie. Even though the characters are over the top, they are truthful and thus identifiable and funny. I'll check out your Movie Meme!

HUGS!
