Casey and I have been watching the Wimbleton Mens Final since 9am this morning. It's been a tennis match of the highest quality between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. It's 2:09pm and the match was just suspended for rain for the second time. The score is 4-6, 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 with Nadal winning the first two sets and Federer the third and fourth sets in tiebreakers. As the dueling stars headed into the clubhouse, the fifth set was tied 2-2 and the game was at deuce. Just frigging amazing!

Edit: Nadal won his first Wimbleton title 9-7 in the fifth set. *shaking head in disbelief*

Last night, Casey and I took in a sweet, film called "Kit Kittredge - All-American Girl". We didn't have a lot of expectations going in and enjoyed it thoroughly. The deciding factor for the choice of movie was the cast: Abigail Van Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Julia Ormond, Chris O'Donnell, Jane Krakowski, Wallace Shawn, Glen Headley (female), Stanley Tucci and Joan Cusak. It's a 1930's period piece and was the perfect viewing pleasure for an early evening on a Saturday in July.

Kitt Kitridge is also Willa Smith's first movie.

Willa is the Daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Her box-office is up against her Dad's, whose film Hancock opened the same day as Kit.

That was some tennis match. It reminded me of playing outside until dark, then getting called to come inside.
Big sports day with the second stage of Tour de France and then Wimbleton.

I do believe it was one of the finest, if not the best, overall tennis matches I've ever watched. I was also happy for Venus Williams and for the sisters as they won the Womens Doubles. As to the Tour do France ... Are there any Americans in the top riders this year?

HUGS!

There's George Hincapie who use to be on Discovery Channel, now on Columbia. There are two American Teams- Columbia(use to be T-mobile and High Road), and Garmin Chipotle. Will Frisckhorn of Garmin Chipotle came in second today on Stage 3.

Thanks for the info! I'm not as informed as you are .. I just knew our past winners weren't in the mix. I know you'll be closely following each stage!

HUGS!

I'll put it on my list to see this week. I'm also, despite my distaste for the stage version, going to see "Mama Mia". Maybe Streep will make me like the material:)

Big HUGS!

Btw, I didn't get your last phone message until today for some reason. I'll be in touch soon!
