Having A Rice Krispies Day
Sep. 23rd, 2006 09:59 amFor the first time in many months, I slept through the night without interruption. I went to bed at 11pm and got up at 9:30am. Yay! The unusual part of the night's rest was an extended dream, a dream in which my friend Casey and I were in a competition to win $500,000. We had to spell the word "honesty" by accomplishing tasks associated with each letter. We won the money, after several strenuous events, because our team work was so strong. I told Casey about the dream this morning and she laughed. She asked me how I felt about it. I told her I was delighted to win even if it was in a dream, but I'm exhausted by all of the spelling:)
As you get older, joints start making bewildering sounds every time you get up, shift your weight or perform a physical task. I asked Casey how she was feeling this morning and she said, "You know ..snap, crackle, pop...". As she got off the couch, I heard all three. We've decided to call it, "having a Rice Krispies day". LOL!
