For the first time in many months, I slept through the night without interruption. I went to bed at 11pm and got up at 9:30am. Yay! The unusual part of the night's rest was an extended dream, a dream in which my friend Casey and I were in a competition to win $500,000. We had to spell the word "honesty" by accomplishing tasks associated with each letter. We won the money, after several strenuous events, because our team work was so strong. I told Casey about the dream this morning and she laughed. She asked me how I felt about it. I told her I was delighted to win even if it was in a dream, but I'm exhausted by all of the spelling:)

As you get older, joints start making bewildering sounds every time you get up, shift your weight or perform a physical task. I asked Casey how she was feeling this morning and she said, "You know ..snap, crackle, pop...". As she got off the couch, I heard all three. We've decided to call it, "having a Rice Krispies day". LOL!

I'm with you on snap, crackle, & pop ... well at least the noise helps propel me out of bed in the morning.

I used to go dancing four nights a week. If I did that now, I'd sound like a veritable symphony of sounds just getting up:)

Why am I utterly certain you'd be able to spell, mime, and in general just embody the word 'honesty' ?

Glad you slept so well - a good sleep is one of life's great treasures I reckon.

The one thing I have of note about getting older is I get tired. Even though I still spin like a little top I become exhausted. I related this to my dear friend Joe on my 60th BD. His comment: Wait till you get to be in your eighties. Of course he was an amazing person who lived life to the fullest until he died this past Jan. I do the same quite frankly. I don’t look, feel and act my age but that doesn’t mean I don’t get friendly reminders from my body that I am what I am. Difference is now I listen.

Saw Martin Short – Fame Becomes Me. Just loved it but I do want to pass on one priceless gem that seems to fit. One of his characters uses lip balm laced with Viagra so he can keep a still upper lip.

Keep the faith

Bob

I find that my mental state of mind greatly affects my physical being. I'm usually tired right now, not because of being too active physically, but because the situation here is very stressful. I was full of energy all weekend ... and I was away from home:)
