Casey and I are back in muggy Texas ... I already miss the cool night air in SF and my friends ...

Before I head to bed, I hope to be among the first to celebrate a dear friend on the other coast ... Happy, Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] bearfuz!!!

Chip, may this year forward be filled with success and joy and may you celebrate your special day surrounded by those who love and appreciate you! Hugs, my friend ...

A question to ponder: If you weren't aware and constantly reminded of your chronological age, what age would you be?

Thanks, pal! Much appreciated. I'll mostly spend it quietly with John, helping him get over his yucky cold, and packing for my cruise.

As for what age I'd be... hm, probably 34-ish. Though from this perspective that just seems excessively YOUNG now... ;-)

Spending it quietly with someone who loves you, yucky cold or not, sounds wonderful. Have a great time on your cruise! I'm still deciding what age I feel like ... it kind of varies:)

Happy Birthday again! HUGS!

Think of all that wisdom you would have to impart ... and the memories of a life well-lived! I hope to live comfortably, happily and healthily into my 80s!

HUGS! Miss ya already!

Now ... In all fairness, I asked how old you would be, not how old you actually look right now. *grin*

Why, sir, you have all the charm of a southern gentleman. You are too kind. Do you sweet talk all of your friends so?

That's exciting! To know that you feel that way in the here and now. I often say that I feel 28 too ... until I look in the mirror:)

It tend to forget my chronological age until my body reminds me.

I hear you ... I slept soundly last night. My first night back in my own bed after several days. However, I've developed tendonitis in both elbows since I've been working on computers. The pain is something else this morning. Except for that, I'd say 28 ... or maybe 43, (1997) the best year of my life to date.

Hi Neil

Sleep - what a beautiful word. As you may be aware I suffer from sleep deprivation from time to time. Mostly dealing with issues I have no control of especially @ 3am.

I guess if I had to pick the best year of my life it would be now. Despite all the stress and stain of all the drama real or self created I attempt at all times to live in the now. Yes my body does my body tell me how old I really am from time to time I do listen. I get down on myself that I have limitations I have to honor but take consolation in the fact I look better then most 61-year-old men.

Best of all ...

It is inspiring that there are 60+ year old men out there who are very handsome and fit. It says a lot about you that you have the discipline and drive to be the best you that you can be. It gives me something to look forward to! I hope to get past my current lethargy and disappointment over my career, back into the swing of things very soon.

HUGS!

I say 27. I still can't believe I'm chronologically 40, because I just don't act like it; however, my body is starting to indicate otherwise.

Many of us are selecting late 20s ... It would be interesting to determine why.

As it is, you are a young 40. You radiate peace and calm ... I know there are issues going on, but your exterior still reflects otherwise.

HUGS!

My initial response was 65 (smiling)

but turning 40 was a time when I felt just right in my skin and life. It has only gotten better.

Keep cool my friend!

I would agree with your statement about turning 40. Until 16 months ago, I would agree that times have only gotten better. But, I'll get past this rough patch and be back on track soon. I'm taking a big risk, so that I can make good things happen.

HUGS!
