One of my goals for perkk's birthday party and housewarming was to create a photo guest book. I took 140 photos (after tossing a few for fuzziness and bad composition by the photographer:) I'm sharing 25 of my favorites here (It's worth it:) ... Yep! That's why the Tim's shirt has a picture of a cow in a chef's hat and the slogan says, "meat is murder ..... tasty, tasty murder ..." LOL! I saw that in Texas and thought, how perfectly twisted:)

Hey Neil, I'm so sorry John and I missed you on this visit of yours. Something went weird with my voice mail and I didn't get your return call message till just today!

Sounds like you had a very full time, John and I had a full weekend as well. So it seems it just wasn't meant to be this time. Looks like you had fun while you were here though, and for that I am glad!

I had a great time, but it was all too short! 8 hours of driving and 4 hours of flying in one brief period is tough, but doable when you're trying to keep your sanity:) I think you would have enjoyed yourself. People scattered throughout the house, in the backyard, garage, on the front porch ... There were interesting conversations everywhere.

I was lucky ... I was a greeter ... quietdanmn kept me company for much of the afternoon, plus we got to meet all of John's wildly eclectic group of friends! Tim roamed about, changing names freuquently on his name tag and generally lending his level of twisted humor to the proceedings. I laughed a lot, but at the same time, had several conversations of substance. YAY! HUGS to both of you!

This really has been a big event for LJ ... the attacks on the servers and then their erroneous decision to block some journals. I'm not sure if most of the people in these photos have seen themselves. Some folks, who have my email address, have been contacting me that way. This really impacted me, because I don't use any other website for socializing, such as any of the bear sites, etc.
