I wasn't sure about peruse. I know it means to read something; however, does it mean casually or carefully? I thought if I missed something, that was it:)

I guessed on a few of them, recalling what the context was in which I last heard the word used (which wouldn't have worked with Masticate....thank god I just knew that one). If the word ain't used at all, I won't know it (i.e. erudite)

Using this method, I guessed that Peruse meant to look at something in a hurried manner, although I wouldn't have known that it specifically concerned books.

A new work for me nowadays is Pernicious. For some reason, it's been popping up a lot lately, particularly concerning issues of Politics and President Bush (grin)...

Yeah ... masticate could have been a noun ... like a sophiticated masti ...LOL! There seems to be some confusion over the results ... several of my friends got an A and didn't miss any definitions, while others got an A+ for their efforts.

As to Bush ... I think the scales are going to tip over soon and his administration will be revealed in all of its glorious corruption. At this point, it absolutely rivals Nixon's as most corrupt and inept.

I didn't have any misses...big deal. Just goes to show that by sheer serendipity, I was able to make all the right GUESSES. Now I suppose my tenure is secure.

... But I still have no idea how to (successfully) post the results, as you have done.

After you take the test, there is a box with coding in it. You copy it, select that you want to post it in your live journal, then paste the code into a new post window. It looks like gibberish until you actually post it; then the text and graphics appear as if by magic:)

I already knew you were a genius:)
