I've come up with my own version of "You Might be a Redneck" joke.

You might be a redneck if yer back har is longer than the har on yer head!

This is my way of saying I just came back from the barber. I took a deep breath and got a buzz cut ... Just sayin' ...

It's my first buzz cut and so far the feedback is very positive ...

I had it done on my lunch hour. No way to get a picture posted so quickly. Besides, I didn't realize anyone else would be interested. I'm still sort of freakin' out at having taken the step. *grin* It certainly isn't the look on my headshot:)

i did mine myself last year, the day before my birthday. i had just taken a shower, and i was looking at myself in the mirror, and i thought...oh, the hell with it. i liked it, but i have to admit, i almost cried because the change was so drastic. but i got used to it, and here it stays. time for my new headshots, too...

Buzz cuts (or flat tops if you can get one) are very good. I got my first back in 98 in Dallas. I've only let it grow out twice since then.

I had a flat top till I was 14. As I've asked someone else here in the comments, remember butch wax? :) I think that a buzz cut is much better than a comb over, a road I didn't want to travel. It most likely means I'll have to get new headshots, but so be it. I can play more bad guys, cops and priests with this cut:)
