Today's our final tech rehearsal ... the fourth day of 12-hour rehearsal periods. The show's coming together nicely and today we add another layer ...costumes and wigs. We'll spend the five hours this afternoon on Act 1 and the five hours tonight on Act 2, giving everyone a chance to practice the numerous quick changes. Since I've got one character, one costume, I'm going to try to photograph a lot of the rehearsal from the orchestra section of the audience ... nothing official, just candid shots. Here's a couple of photos from this past week ... and my new look for Officer Lonigan. Be kind! *grin*

THat sunset shot is indeed lovely and rather stormy looking, just what's expected this time of year. :-)

Date: 2006-03-18 09:38 pm (UTC)And dressed up in a uniform. There will be many in the audience falling in love with you.
Looks like a lovely theater. Any info about it: when built, style etc?
Thanks and glad to hear things are going well.
What are the one hundred ways to loose a man? (winking)
Re: gifts that count
Date: 2006-03-19 08:07 am (UTC)There are only four ways to a lose a man detailed in the song. I think I've experienced most of the other 96 at one time or another:)
Hugs, Boyo!

Date: 2006-03-19 03:16 am (UTC)Holy crap!! FOUR 10-outta-12's?!? FOUR?!?
I thought 2 was bad! Don't they do a separate QC rehearsal?
You're gonna want a couple of inkies under your visor, so we can see your eyes!

Date: 2006-03-19 08:19 am (UTC)I like
Date: 2006-03-19 03:32 am (UTC)Like that officer Lonigan, oy! Rattle some bells, oy! The open collar makes you look more 70's cop than 30's to my unknowing eyes... I sort of pictured wider ends on the mustache that runs down to your chin and a double-breasted jacket, but what do I know? Ya look GREAT, laddy! MUCH younger, and butch in a quirky porn star kind o' way. If some queen wrote a musical about porn stars, would you star? :-) I think you make a far more credible porn star than some generic beefcake - specifying that's a compliment knowing you! LOL
Gorgeous sunset pix - looks just like you.
Re: I like
Date: 2006-03-19 08:24 am (UTC)I've never been considered porn material before ... Thank ye, Laddie! ... Well, at least since the 1970s ... Isn't it time for a remake of "Kansas City Trucking", "LA Tool and Die" and "El Paso Wrecking Company"?
I appreciate the compliments, my friend! HUGS! Btw, I have no idea how I got that format. I just signed on two days ago and it was like that. I didn't change anything, but glad you like it! :)
