Thought I'd post a trio of reviews by David-Edward Hughes here in Seattle. In his article, he covers "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "You Can't Take It With You" at Seattle Rep and The Seattle Mens Chorus holiday concert with Jennifer Holiday. Check it out!

Date: 2008-12-14 06:43 am (UTC)I've done "YCTIWY" for Milwaukee Rep many years ago, and it was one of my favorite production experiences. It must be 'champagne casting' to have Elizabeth Huddle doing a cameo. She played the first Ranevskaya I ever saw (as an impressionable young pup just out of college). And, with her as director, I got to design King Lear for her at Colorado Shakespeare Festival back in 2001.
Lovely to know you're thriving in a theatre-rich city.
Hugs!
