Meant to Be!
Nov. 22nd, 2018 12:47 pmI'd like to share an example of "meant to be". On this day in 2015, I responded to a post by my friend Maggie Dickey. Texan Maggie volunteers several times a year with the National Mill Dog Rescue in Colorado Springs. I'd often perused the photos Maggie posted of adoptable dogs. On 11-21-15, she posted a photo of an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Marley.
I was the first to respond. To my disappointment, Maggie replied that Marley was already promised to a home in Sweetwater, TX - to a woman who had been on a waiting list for over a year for a Cavalier. (This woman and I were jokingly competing for him on the FB thread.) I understood and put Marley out of my mind.
Three years later, Georgie is laying on the couch across from me! Marley and Georgie (renamed by the woman who adopted him) are one and the same dog!!! Two and two were put together today to equal the same wonderful dog!
