Ummm ... I don't do that ...

gotmoof and I just got back from running errands this afternoon and Tim was playing around with my cell phone. He said, "Neil, did you know you have a bunch of text messages on here?" Ummm ... No, I didn't. I had text messaging disabled on my cell phone when I got it. I don't plan to use that feature anytime soon. There were 16 text messages on my phone going back to 2004:)

So, if you're a friend of mine who wondered why I didn't respond to your texting, I'm not an asshole; just a fuddy-duddy who would prefer to talk to another person on the phone, or better yet, in person. I can't imagine trying to type out a message on a little pad, trying to match the letters to the corresponding numbers. Sadly, it takes me 10 minutes just to enter a new phone number or name to the directory. My phone is not a mini-computer, a camera or any other of the exciting options. It's a phone.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness in thinking of me and if the reason for the text message is still relevant, please let me hear from you ... on the phone:) I may be technologically-challenged, but I can be very pleasant. LOL!
