lowfatmuffin (Bob) asked me if I would post a picture from last Sunday's vist from Hal Prince and Chita Rivera. I took this picture before the matinee performance of "Evita" in Kathy's dressing room. From left to right are: Bradley Dean (Che), Chita Rivera (looking young and lovely at 73); Kathy Voytko (Eva Peron); and legendary director/producer Hal Prince.
One of the first "touristy" things I did in Toronto was have lunch at the 360 Restaurant on the 113th Floor of the CN Tower. It's a wonderful dining experience, as the restaurant slowly revolves and allows for picture-taking and the food is terrific. I visited with cast mate Joel Briel and his partner Scott. Here's a picture Joel took of me with the skyline of Toronto in the background.
The vistas from the 360 Restaurant were beautiful. We made the right decision to visit when we did as we had a rare sunny day. Here's Lake Ontario from the air. :)
Safely back on the ground, I captured this image of the CN Tower tucked between modern skyscrapers. It's the face of modern Toronto.
I took many pictures of older buildings which have hidden-away touches such as this relief of a bear and her (his?) cubs carved into the side of an insurance headquarters on Bloor Street. I think it's a whimsical and wonderful piece of art. :)
