A year ago I wrote a post titled, "Mentalpause". It's my term for what men and women go through as they age and can't quickly come up with a word or name, lose track of where they are in a story or find themselves repeating information. The word came to me because I mis-typed the word menopause. I figured a man my age should have a colorful and appropriate name for his forgetfulness:)

I never took typing in high school or beyond. I've learned to type pretty fast, but not always accurately. I never learned the correct fingering for the computer keyboard. (Who am I kidding? We didn't have computers when I went to high school:) Recently, it's led to some interesting typos. Some of the mistakes look like they should be real words in the dictionary. Here are a couple of words, a phrase and the mock definitions I've created for them. Maybe we can use them often enough that they'll come into general use. *grin*

Fiendship - A friendship that has soured ...

Cereal Killer - Death by repeated intake of processed sugars and additives ...

Candystripper - A volunteer in a hospital who takes off their clothes for chocolate
