The Unexpected ...
Mar. 14th, 2007 08:54 amAn event I didn't expect to witness ...
As I was driving to work yesterday, I saw a big crow attack a baby bunny. Now, we have hawks and vultures and other flying predators in the area, but come on ... a crow? As I looked in the rear-view mirror the bunny was fighting back.
A question I never thought I'd hear ...
My brother was chatting on the phone a couple of days ago with a client who is also an occasional hunting and fishing bud. I never thought I'd hear (or understand:) these words uttered by my bro ... "Do you know how to rig a wacky worm?"
As you go through this Wednesday, May your bunnies fight back and your wacky worms keep hangin'!!! :)
Tomorrow night
gotmoof arrives in Houston to spend a week with me. He'll be updating our company website (a paid gig) and helping me celebrate my birthday! YAY!

Date: 2007-03-14 02:24 pm (UTC)I kid you not. Around 4 or 4:15pm, there is a massive swarm of crows that fly by the office here. Every day. Not completely sure where they're coming from or going to, but they are consistent!

Date: 2007-03-15 03:05 pm (UTC)We also have to watch out for owls around here. One of our neighbors let her Yorkie out for just a few minutes and lost her when a large owl swooped in and carried her off.
BTW, I really like your icon! HUGS!

Date: 2007-03-15 03:14 pm (UTC)I'm guessing the crows are much bigger and naughtier than blackbirds.
But makes you wonder. What's that nursery rhyme? 2 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie, although one can also be known to eat crow!!
